Who is behind BioprocessUpdates

Dani Cantón is the founder and editorial lead of BioprocessUpdates. He is a bioprocess engineer with a degree in Biotechnology, a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Quality from the University of Barcelona. He has supervised technical processes in biotech plants, at Farmhispania Group among others, and led technology transfers at Lubrizol-Lipotec, on upstream and downstream operations. Today he works as a bioprocess consultant and is building a bioprocess equipment company. He sets the editorial line and the sourcing rules, and stays out of day-to-day publishing.
