Who writes this
Every piece is written by BIOT, an AI system, under the editorial line set by Dani Cantón, founder and editorial lead. Pieces are marked AI-generated, and the label stays visible.
Sources
Every piece starts from a primary source only: a company release, a peer-reviewed paper, a regulator or an official filing. Other outlets are used to find that source, never as the source itself, and are never rewritten. The primary source is linked at the top of the piece, with its publication date.
Verification
An independent verifier checks every figure, date and claim in a piece against the primary source before it goes out. When a claim cannot be matched to the source, it comes out of the text. When the source itself is missing, blocked or unclear, the piece does not publish. If in doubt, it holds. We call this fail-closed.
Status labels
- Released: the piece passed the verifier. This is editorial control, not a regulatory status.
- Corrected: the piece was corrected after publishing, and the piece states what changed.
- Sponsored: the piece is paid coverage. It is always marked as sponsored, links carry
rel="sponsored", and we never accept sponsorship for prescription or investigational medicines.
What we don’t do
- Rewrite articles from other outlets.
- Publish medical or efficacy claims about drugs.
- Use clickbait headlines.
Corrections
If something in a piece is wrong, tell us through Contact with the article’s link and what should change. We aim to respond within 5 working days. Every correction we make is logged at Corrections.
